**Much To The Chagrin Of Some Blacks, Whit Legislators Wear Kente Cloth – Cultural Appropriation.**

Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden recently called the late Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV), a former KKK member, a mentor and “dear friend.” In an attempt to demonstrate solidarity with the Black community, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and other Democratic lawmakers (see above) recently wore scarves made from Kente cloth as Pelosi outlined proposals for police reform. These scarves had been given them by the Congressional Black Caucus. Ironically, these Kente scarves have a long history of being worn by wealthy African slave owners and traders.
