Allahu Akbar translates in English to God is great (or greatest).  Indeed, God, Allah, whomever and whatever you want to title the Creator of all that is, was or ever shall be, the heavens, earth, the seas and all that’s in them, then the statement is correct.  Of course that same Creator does not want to see miscreant savages destroying His creation, so the people who are doing that are definitely NOT GREAT, nor do they understand that they are a tool of Allah’s enemies and agents of Satan.  See link below:
