Isn’t it interesting that in 1 and 1/2 terms in office, Donald Trump with all his executive power and executive orders couldn’t make a dent in vote rigging and corruption. Did he really even want to?
Here’s what Donald Trump could have done, and if the courts were allowed to overthrow him, at least his effort would have been noted. He could have issued an executive order on day one a.) that ALL BALLOTS for Federal Office Holders had to be on paper. b.) ALL VOTES for Federal Office Holders had to be cast between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time only on election day. c.) ALL VOTES had to be cast by U.S. citizens with valid I.D.’s. d.) ALL BALLOTS had to be counted without interruptions or delays by hand and not by machine and that Democrats and Republicans were to be equally responsible for the count’s veracity. e.) NO LATE BALLOTS would be accepted, CHAIN OF CUSTODY would not be interrupted and Republicans and Democrats would be mutually and equally responsible for that custody. f.) NO MAIL IN BALLOTS would be accepted except for officially assigned U.S. government and U.S. business employees who were out of country.
Upon issuing the above executive orders, the President could have called for the codification of those orders by way of either Congressional legislation, or a Constitutional amendment.
The states would have to comply with all ballots, because they would not go through the effort of having parallel voting systems. If a judge claimed this was unconstitutional, it could have gone to the Supreme Court with no problems. If the U.S. Supreme Court shut it down, it would be clear who owned them – not the people!
The above ideas are not rocket science; they are good sense reasonable precautions to protect our way of life, our property and our liberty – yes, and even our sovereignty.
