U.S. literacy rates – very dismal – especially in the south HERE! After tens of billions of dollars spent, it appears we’re no better off, and maybe possilby a little worse off today verses 250 years ago. That’s on literacy, but what else have government schools given us? How about, they gave us students who were crime prone, homosexual, sexually promiscuous, transgender, rebellions against parents and authority etc. Yes, as the old Bernays saying goes; “You’ve come a long ways baby!”
