AI is already affecting us, and with the incredible and rapid advancement of it, we are only months away from dramatic changes in our lives!

AI is short for artificial intelligence. What does that really mean? The artificial part is the fuit of a mindset that is as old as man – to cast blame away from himself. If AI through whatever machination is programmed to perform certain tasks under certain circumstances, and it performs those tasks, then the AI is responsible for the results.

AI is a combination of information and commands, or software programming. The information is referred to as data, and we see a plethora of data centers constructed or under construction. Virtually the sum total of man’s knowledge may soon be grasped by AI and stored with ready access for the user. This creates a god like quality for the people who have this “access” to all the data.

The data will include the intimate details of people’s lives – your full name, birth to current history, family, friends, past and current work, criminal history, political affiliations, medical conditions and history, personal philosophy, where you live and have lived, likes and dislikes, finances, banking, credit cards, outstanding loans and loan history, organizations to which you’ve belonged, religious beliefs, spending habit and what you buy, and the list could go on and will go on.

The people who have access to this data will have it instantly. Your entire life will be bare before them. Is it possible that any of this could be used against you? Is it possible that any of the people who have the access will be of a criminal and/or vindictive nature? What do you think?

The total capital investment and spending on AI in 2026 alone, on the low side, is estimated to be $1 Trillion – and as high as $2 1/2 Trillion! We’re not talking chump change here! That’s equal to over 15% of the United States gross domestic product on an annual basis! Why? Power! Power and money are what are driving the people behind this. They want to know everything about everyone and control everything and everyone. They want to be god!

One of the objectives this writer has posted in the past is CBDC’s (Central Bank Digital Currency). CBDC’s allow the banks to digitize all money, so you will never hold it in your hand again. It will be out of your control and in theirs only! In other words, they can shut down your account at the bank, or on a credit or debit card, with a keystroke! If you displease them in any way – politically, religiously, ideologically, or in any way, they just cut you off! What are you going to do at that point? Stores, gas stations, insurance companies, doctors, hospitals; even farmers and ranchers, won’t take cash. You’ll be in big trouble unless they restore your ability to do business. They might just require some serious changes in your life for that to happen.

Think of this, they could put you in a box, by programming your payment of CBDC’s in such a way that you are limited to the area you can spend it in. For example, if you want to travel outside the 20 mile range they give you for spending, you either will have to forget it, or appeal to them for special privileges! Is that the way you want to live your life?

AI will control the CBDC’s, and you will have a very difficult time getting a live human being to talk with in order to resolve issues. That’s already becoming a problem, and if you haven’t noticed, you’re, not paying attention. Go to your Congressman, Mayor or whomever to complain, and they won’t be able to help you, because it’s all programmed into the software, and there’s no individual human being to which they can appeal!

And thereby goes the most insidious and tooth gnashing aspect of all of this. There’s no human being to address about your problems. Machines and AI have no soul, no mercy, no compassion, no frustration, no angst, no personality, no conscience, no guilt, no submission to any law but that of the programmer – no nothing! It’s just a bunch of wires, mother boards and electricity in some sort of housing. AI doesn’t care about you, me, or even the people who created it! What if those people lose control of AI, and it becomes autonomous? This writer has read of instances already where AI has done this.

Ah but we can always turn off the electricity! What if AI controls the electricity as well? We are treading on thin ice and entering dangerous and uncharted waters. Would it be too much to encourage the exercise of caution and wisdom?

The history of man is replete with nasty behavior. Human nature has never, I REPEAT NEVER, changed in thousands of years of recorded history anywhere in the world! Look around if you disagree – do people still murder, offend, lie, cheat, steal, and get violent? No, nothing in the way of man’s behavior has or, for that matter, ever will change.

Is mankind doomed? That depends upon your wolrdview. If you are an accidentalist (evolutionist), then yes, man is doomed. If you are a believer in the God of creation, and His Son Jesus Christ whose work on the cross and shed blood has saved His “elect” from their sins, then, there is hope.
