Is Jesus Christ God?

Acts 10:25 As Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him and fell down at his feet and worshiped him. 26 But Peter lifted him up, saying, “Stand up; I myself am also a man.”

Now if Peter corrects Cornelius for worshiping him, then why in the below verses does Jesus not correct those who worhsip Him?

Matthew 2:11: The wise men saw the young Child with Mary His mother, fell down and worshipped Him.
Matthew 14:33: Those in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God”.
Matthew 28:9: Women met Jesus after the resurrection, “clasped His feet and worshiped Him”.
Matthew 28:17: The eleven disciples saw Him and worshiped Him, though some doubted.
John 9:38: The healed blind man said, “Lord, I believe!” And he worshiped Him.

Isaiah 9:6 says; “For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Everyone this writer knows, and there are hymns and Christmas songs written to this effect, believes this passage in Isaiah and others are written about Jesus Christ.

Colossian 1:15 – 20 confirms Christ’s deity also.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or [a]principalities or [b]powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

What more proof do the deniers of Christ’s deity need? Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons and others have denied the deity of Christ and stand in the way of the wicked.
