Police are very special people, because society (the governed) have given them extraordinary powers. They have the power of arrest, and to use lethal force if they deem it necessary to enforce the law or defend themselves from harm. But, what happens if the laws are bad, unjust or downright evil? Do the police have the right, duty and justification for enforcing them? This writer says absolutely “NO!”.

Will some police say “No”? Probably some will, but most will not, and the reason is that they have a mortgage, a car payment, a credit card balance, and a family in many cases etc. They will not be willing to sacrifice their creature comforts and risk the wrath of failing their responsibilities to do what’s right for others, and yet what’s right for others is right for them as well. Man’s cruelty to man has a very long history to include murder, oppression, enslavement, impoverishment, torture etc. etc. The work of the Holy Spirit combined with faith in Jesus Christ and being born again are what have made western civilization civilized. We are seeing our civilization deconstructed right before our eyes, and it is ugly and will be very devastating to those who are not mentally, physically, and most importantly spiritually prepared.
