Science is the touchstone for the “Establishment” thought in today’s world!  Science means knowledge, and science is the end all for today’s “great” thinkers, politicians, billionaires, educrats etc.  The one problem with science is that although it tells us what has happened, or what is happening, it doesn’t tell us why things happen.  Why do people think?  Why do they fall in love?  Why do people lie, cheat and steal?  Why do people die?  Why can a 1000 year old seed still germinate?

There are so many things for which the why is unanswerable by science, it is staggering, and yet, those in power want science to be the only avenue of explanation for the reality that surround us.  In so doing, they deny the spiritual world; that which is intangible, and yet cannot be denied.  Why?  To go into that realm requires a recognition of, at the very least, “intelligent design”.  To accept that idea, one must also accept the idea that there is a source for life and all that surrounds us that is outside the sphere of man’s influence and control – intelligent design.  What an horrific thought for those who worship science instead of the Creator of science!
