Of course, that depends upon the word.  Then of course, there’s the spelling of the word.  Let’s try Duhmocracy.  Well, maybe, but how about Dumbocracy.  Now, that’s better.  Why?  Because, the idea is that everyone has a voice, and the largest group of voices will shout down the smaller groups of voices.  The proponents spell it Democracy.  What it comes down to is mob rule.

America was structured to be a Republic with democratically elected officials to implement the mechanism of the Constitution.  As John Adams, America’s second President, said; “The Constitution was made for a ‘moral’ people”.   Moral is the opposite of immoral.  The problem is who establishes the moral standard?  If it’s a mob, majority or a powerful group, then anything can and usually does go.

On the other hand, if the moral standard if fixed, unalterable and objective (not coming from any man), then it might have a chance.  What is that “standard”?  It would have to be the Bible from an American historical perspective.  If you prefer Islam, then the Koran (Quran) might work, but if you look at Muslim countries, they tend to be very harsh, autocratic, non-progressive and downright evil in many instances – certainly in instances of personal liberty and mindless mobs fanatically attacking anyone who disagrees with them.  Hey, why can’t the majority of vaccine manufacturers mandate that everyone get 77 different vaccines (the number currently required of children by age 16)?
