During the Federal Government “Shutdown“, there is a shutdown of “nonessential” services.
Webster’s Dictionary definition of essential: of the utmost importance : basic, indispensable, necessary
The above definition of essential would then lead someone to an understanding of nonessential which means not essential. Let’s use some substitutes for nonessential based upon the above definition:
of no importance, superfluous, able to do without, not necessary.
Here’s the question:
If, it is not important, basic, needed etc., then why do we have it? Please answer in the comment section; thank you.
