One Person’s Opinion.

The outcry over the Florida shooting is shrill, well organized, and it may push us over the top as far as taking away the 2nd Amendment.  Before that happens, let’s consider a few things.  (Below is an earlier post of a young person speaking out against the 2nd Amendment & below that a short explanation from a founding father as to why we have it).

First let’s consider the fact that the second criminal act in the history of mankind was murder.  No one knows how many thousands of years ago that was.  The first criminal act was to disobey the God of the Bible Who is now so denigrated and diluted by the politicians, educators and corporate media that He has no relevance in our lives and our culture any more.  Let’s at least be honest about one thing that cannot be denied; murder has never stopped in the history of mankind.  Whether it is engineered warfare, lust for power, lust for material possessions, lust for one’s pride or whatever, it goes on and on.

As one founding father quipped, “If men were angels, there would be no need for government.”  Obviously, this is why we have government – men (includes women) are not angels.  Government is designed, although inevitably strays from the design, to limit the evil that can and is done, and to punish that evil which was perpetrated.  Obviously the F.B.I. has failed miserably on numerous occasions (see the earlier post “Go To 3 Minutes…..”) in which is listed a dozen mass murdering (bombers & shooters both) who the F.B.I. knew about and did nothing, and who were all on psychotropic drugs, and who were all registered Democrats (who by the way are totally supported by the teachers union).

The founding fathers, who have also been derided in the post below and been labeled outdated and anachronistic, knew full well that people are not to be trusted, and that governments are made up of people, and therefore, governments are not to be trusted.

So, if you’re in government, how do you overcome the distrust?  Well, if you can get people to rely upon you year in and year out for your daily bread (welfare, food stamps, social security checks, disability checks, public housing, education, information, protection etc. etc.), then they will grow to trust you.  The difficulty lay in the fact that there is no “free lunch” in reality, only in the imagination of lying, thieving, hypocritical NAZI’s, socialists, fascists, communists and monopoly capitalists who all have an agenda of totalitarian power over the masses.  All of the above listed “freebies” have to be paid for.  As more and more people gravitate to “freebies”, fewer and fewer people are producing the goods and services needed to pay for that.

Now, comes the conundrum that all tyrannical governments have to face.  Those who work hard and are honest get fed up with the fruits of their labor being given away to lazy unproductive slobs, and so they rise up and rebel against the tyrannical authority (government) that is oppressing them.  How do you stop that?  The best way is to make those people defenseless so they must submit to the governing authorities even though those authorities have become totally corrupt.

Of course, once the people have been disarmed, watch out, because the “freebies” will stop, and the “free loaders” will have to go to work, and there’ll be a government jack booted thug pointing a nasty gun at them telling them what to do.  You see, by then, the only people who will have guns will be the criminals and thugs in government; oh, but please pardon that redundancy.

Could it be that the handful of trillionaires and billionaires who own well over half the wealth of the world want it all, and us to be their slaves?  Do you think they can afford to buy the  politicians, or the office they want to control?  Don’t laugh, it’s happened in past history, and America is not immune to a dictatorship – in fact we’re very close to one right now!

“If the representatives of the people betray their constituents, there is then no recourse left but in the exertion of that original right of self-defense which is paramount to all positive forms of government, and which against the usurpations of the national rulers may be exerted with infinitely better prospect of success than against those of the rulers of an individual State. In a single State, if the persons entrusted with supreme power become usurpers, the different parcels, subdivisions, or districts of which it consists, having no distinct government in each, can take no regular measures for defense. The citizens must rush tumultuously to arms, without concert, without system, without resource; except in their courage and despair.”

Alexander Hamilton, Federalist Paper No. 28

(As an aside, the Federalist Papers were written and distributed to the people of America before the Constitution was ratified in order to explain why the Constitution was written the way it was.  The authors were John Jay, the first U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice,  James Madison, the fourth U.S. President, and Alexander Hamilton, the first U.S. Secretary of the Treasury.)
