People are hungry – hungry for the truth. There’s a saying that if you eat Chinese food until you’re full, you’ll be hungry again in a half hour. If you listen to the nonsense and lies of the corporate media, you’ll be hungry again very soon.
After watching TV, or reading the newspapers until you’re full, you have all these questions that pop up in your mind that the newscaster or reporter didn’t ask. Why didn’t they ask it? So you watch more, and still, they don’t ask the obvious questions. They don’t ask the hard questions. Why? If you’re experiencing the “Why?”, then you’re hungry and not satisfied.
The answer to why is simple. Their advertisers provide their paychecks, and their advertisers are subject to government taxation, regulation, penalties, and yes, rewards if they are good little “do bees”. In other words, the corporate media can’t step on the toes of their advertisers.
Can you remember back in the 1950’s and 1960’s when cigarettes were advertised on TV? They were, and while they were, no television station would link lung cancer with cigarette smoking. Now, cigarette advertising on TV has been outlawed, and the TV stations and newscasters run lots of stories linking cancer to smoking. In fact, you’ll see lots of ads promoting the quitting of smoking which adds to the media’s motivation to link cancer to smoking.
Now, let’s fast forward to the 2000’s, and watch what’s being advertised now. Pharmaceuticals and vaccines. What does the media do? They ignore all of the problems that arise from pharmaceuticals and vaccines, and run stories that dismiss the possibility that vaccines are the cause of autism, or that American’s health issues are exacerbated by prescription medicines which have all sorts of side effects – some fatal as noted in the advertisements which by law are required to list known side effects.
If the stations and newscasters are regulated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), then do you think they will act any differently as far as alerting the public to corruption in government in high places? Not likely. Of course the bankers finance the government with easily printed money, and so they ultimately control the government, advertisers and pharmaceutical companies. And so Americans are left hungry.
Sadly, the churches in America are equally as guilty as the news media, the advertisers, the bankers, and the government. Churches do not feed their flocks with accurate and complete teaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and so Americans are spiritually hungry. The church is like Chinese food also.
Jesus Christ said; “I am the way, the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Me.” Are you hungry?
