Historically the first recorded “book burning” was in the Bible in the Book of Acts Chapter 19:19.  This book burning was voluntary and spiritually motivated, but the latest book burning is compelled by government, and is involuntary for the people, and  is designed to keep them ignorant.  This is some what of a figure of speech, because what’s being burned is the electronic/printed dissemination of truth in advance so the public will be kept ignorant.  Like “pre-crime” in the movie Minority Report, now we have pre-news (French election), and you can go to jail if it gets out!  The rich and powerful want a one world banana republic, and we’re not far from it.
