Hypocrisy defined in Webster’s Dictionary is: a feigning to be what one is not or to believe what one does not; especially: the false assumption of an appearance of virtue or religion. Based upon this definition, it is safe to say that people are not always what they say they are. Aww, are you disappointed – me too!
Let’s look at people who say they’re Christian, and they go out and violate numerous laws of God. Are they Christian? Hard to say, but it is certain, you can say they are not walking the talk. How about politicians? They are the greatest frauds on the face of the earth, but why? Could it be that the people who elect them are just as hypocritical?
As a voter, do you expect your prospective leader for whom you plan to vote to do you a favor at the expense of the Constitution – you know; something like give you free medical care, welfare, food stamps, free education etc.? Are you a business man who expects your prospective representative to give you special protective legislation against your competition?
Sad to say, this stuff goes on all of the time, and things are not going to get any better until. Oh you want an answer to the problem? It’s here just as plain as day, if you want to get rid of the hypocrisy, then you’ll have to quit putting your trust in man, because he’s a hypocrite from the get go!
The solution is as old as the Rocky Mountains and just as solid. To get rid of hypocrisy you must repent and obey God.
