God’s Judgment!

God’s judgment takes two distinct forms. The first and most critical is His judgment of individual souls. Human existence is eternal, life is with God, and death is without God. All those who live will die temporally, and either be with, or be separated from God for eternity. With God is in His Kingdom of Heaven, and without Him is Hell.

The other type of judgment is a national judgment. God threatens Israel with His judgment on numerous occasions. God used Israel, His elect (chosen) people to judge the nations. He also used nations to judge Israel.

What makes anyone think that anything has changed as far as God is concerned. He says “I do not change!” So, is America being judged currently? Nations don’t have souls, and therefore, they do not have an eternal quality to them. Nations come and go.

In the founding of America was a strong desire by those early Americans to glorify God and serve and obey Him. Today, America does everything contrary to God’s law. I mean everything. Show me anything that we as a nation do in our law system, or our general culture that is in conformity to God’s law. Yes, there are some true churches out there – not very many.

What we see today that is contrary to the law of God is as follows, and is by no means exhaustive. We have public approbation of:

1.) Idolatry

2.) Murder (United Health Executive shot down in New York City – by Mangione – trial under way)

3.) Adultery, homosexuality and pedophilia.

4.) Debt

5.) Child sex trafficking

6.) Human trafficking

7.) Rampant drug use.

8.) Bribery of public officials. (campaign contributions)

9.) Envy – socialism and communism

10.) Stealing – socialism, fiat currency, shop lifting

11.) Corrupt judicial system – slow and no justice.

12.) Inflation and heavy taxation.

That is a brief summary, and it’s sad to say that the church as a collective body, and Christians in general, are doing and saying little about it. As such, we can expect God’s judgment. What we don’t know is how much of it will be God’s judgment through a natural course of events, verses a supernatural course of events.

The decay of society in general would be a natural course of events. Inflation and heavy taxation impoverishes and discourages people. Murder that goes unpunished, or minimally punished makes people afraid to enter into a public situation. It makes people fearful of their neighbor. A corrupt judicial system and bribed politicians make people feel impotent and incapable of receiving government protection for the most basic of rights – i.e. life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. There are other “natural” events like floods, famines, and plagues.

A supernatural event might be harder to guess at, and I will not do so. The natural events are scary enough. God’s law is set in place, and part of God’s law is human nature and its logical outcomes. When provoked, people attack. When oppressed people capitulate, or rebel. When food is unavailable, people eat each other. When people’s property is threatened they capitulate or fight.

Those who serve Satan and hold the reins of wealth and power in America know all of these things and are engineering them in their favor. Isaiah lamented that there was a “deep sleep” over the nation of Israel. Is America any different today?

America and Americans repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ while there is time.
