Private Property?

Private property is Biblical – i.e. the 8th Commandment. It means that you may control, use and dispose of that property without permission from anyone or any institution or any government. It means you may acquire it honestly and keep the proceeds from it when you do dispose of it. It means you may use that property any way you choose as long as it does not violate the rights of others.

Governments are notorious for attacking people’s private property rights in order to limit or completely deny their freedom – making them slaves for all intents and purposes. One of the most insidious attacks is property tax. If you own a piece of property outright (paid for cash), you still have to pay rent to the government, and if you don’t pay that rent, then they can take the property from you. A county just recently passed a law that if you get behind on your utilities by as much as $1,000.00, and for over 1 month, the county can confiscate your property. Think about that! You have a $300,000.00 house paid for cash, and you lose your job, get ill and fall behind on your utilities. The government can just take your property right away from you!

If Someone borrows your car and takes a friend with them, and that friend is in possession of some illegal drug, then if caught, the state can confiscate your brand new paid for car! Hey, is America sounding more like Soviet Russia or NAZI Germany. If you think so, you’re right!
