As the picture above portrays; speak, see and hear no evil. In other words, remain ignorant, and if you are not ignorant, don’t tell anyone!

Historically, sin, particularly in Christian nations and cultures, has been made illegal, and in the most generous of cases, it has been highly stigmatized.

Today, with a flaccid church that reflects the above pictured attitude, at least outside of the church, we see the following stages of sin:

1.) Decriminalization

2.) Glamorization & Normalization

3.) Legalization

4.) Institutionalization.

As an example, up until 1961, homosexuality was illegal in all 50 of the United States.

In 1961, Illinois “decriminalized” (see 1.) homosexuality. In 1990, a concerted effort to glamorize and normalize homosexuality began in earnest (see 2.) In 2003, homosexuality was legalized (see 3.). In 2004, same sex marriage was legalized (see 4.) which institutionalized it. Additionally, adoption of children by homosexuals is now legal, and in the process, Christians are being prevented from being Foster Parents. Homosexuals are being elevated over the heterosexual populace, and they are even being given preferential treatment. Homosexuals even hold high positions in the churches of America. Paedophilia is now considered reasonable by many. How far will it go? How far will the church and Christians let it go?

If you want to look further, follow the above stages, and apply them to sex in general, marijuana, stealing and degeneracy in general etc. The slippery slope becomes harder to resist the steeper it gets!
