Trump is denying funds to sanctuary states effective 2/1/26 HERE. NOTE: This is long overdue! And a list of those states HERE! States cannot print money, so it is interesting to see what percentage of state budgets are federally funded?:

California 14.5% – 15.8% HERE!

Colorado 22.1% HERE!

Illinois 26.7% HERE!

Massachusetts 25% – 35% HERE!

Minnesotta 25.7% HERE!

New York 26.6% HERE!

These “Blue” sanctuary states listed above (not all that there are) will be severely hampered if they have to cut their budgets by 15% – 35%. It will cause chaos in their states. Layoffs will be immediate. People who rely upon Federal largesse will start to riot. Leaders will panic. The first recourse of action will be to have the courts stop Trump and his administration from doing it. It will be tied up in court (if Trump has his way for weeks at least), and chaos will ensue.

The only way that state, county and municipal governments have of creating money is to sell bonds (debt), and that has to be approved by a vote of the people which takes time they won’t have! The result could mean a break up of the United States, mass civil unrest, civil war – who knows? We live in interesting times!
