Persecution is virtually always because of a belief not acceptable to the persecutor. Persecution, when the persecutor is not in a strong position, is usually low key and subtle. If the persecutor achieves acendancy in a society, then the persecution becomes more blatant. It may be as benign as harassment, or as severe as murder and/or enslavement HERE.

In America, Christianity was by far and away the dominant cultural creed and foundation of our society. As such, the idea of Christians being persecuted was virtually unthought of. As America’s society advanced, and as more immigrants came into America from non-Christian cultures, that changed. Christians fell away from their foundation, and became soft.

As a result, the Ten Commandments were removed from the public square. Public discussion of Christianity and Christian laws and principles were pushed out of the public square. Schools began to teach contrary things to Christian Biblical standards; such as, homosexuality, fornication, drug use, rejection of parental authority, acceptance of pagan ideologies, evolution, fiat currency as o.k., Communism and Socialism of which both are antithetical to Christianity etc. and not necessarily in that order.

With no significant or well orchestrated push back by the Christian community, the warp fiber of our society was frayed and many strands broken. America was. and is, weakened, and things like cussing, pornography, selfishness etc. became entrenched in society. America went from a nation where in 1900, 97% of Americans were Christian, to 2025 (3 generations later) when it declined by 1/3 to 66%, and during that time, the teaching of Christianity was severely softened and weakened.

In 2020, the State of California’s government ascertained that pot shops, liquor stores, big box stores etc. were necessary to keep open, where churches were not. That was pretty blatant persecution, but was mild compared to what Chrisians can look foward to as our society “progresses”! Soon, there will be pronounced penalties for being Christian, and the persecution will not be so benign. Watch out for discriminatory fines, public humilliation, removal from meaningful employment, confiscation of property etc. As that becomes institutionalized, the next step will be internment (reeducation) camps, restricted freedoms, inability to hold public or meaningful office, second class citizenship, and the final move will be to enslave or execute Christians. The language of vitriol against Christians and white people is already in place and being used liberally!

Today’s Christian is asleep at the wheel and has no idea what is on the horizon. Life will soon start to become very, very unpleasant for Christians – just wait for a new Democrat administration. New York City just elected a Muslim as Mayor. Muslims want to make everyone a Muslim, slave or dead! Muslims do not persuade with soft words, but with the point of a hard sharp sword. Muslims see their religion as a cultural status that incoproates the political arena, the family arena, the mosque (church), the economy and all facets of life in a society.

If you’re a Christian, you would do well to wake up quickly. If you are not a Christian, but would like to preserve your right to enjoy private property, wealth, freedom of speech and association, and the right to self defense or a trial by jury, then you should consider where all of those ideas came from – Christianity. Unbelievers should defend Christianity even if they are not Christian!
