Is the “Smart Home” idea really smart HERE? If the Pentagon got hacked (which it did) then what’s the possiblity that your home could get hacked. Amazon’s cloud service went down once before, and people with smart homes couldn’t unlock their front door to get into their homes. Smart cars can be shut down remotely by law enforcement! My neighbor was out of state and forgot his cell phone. He remotely let me into his “smart home”, and I retrieved his cell phone and sent it to him UPS overnight. What if a nefarious person intercepted the signal and saved it on his equipment to get into the home at a later date?
