“News” is what they call it on ABC, CBS, CNBC, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, PBS, BBC, New York Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Denver Compost, L.A. Times, Arizona Republic etc. But, is it REALLY news? News is an accurate recounting of all of the available facts without, suppression, enhancement, opinion or agenda concerning a significant, true and real incident that took place either in private or in public. News exposes the truth, the reality and the facts as they are, and not as someone would like them to be!

Propaganda * on the other hand is a conscious and concerted agenda (usually presented as subtly as possible by supposedly credible and authoritative sources) to get people to respond in a desired way . (NOTE that propaganda is of a political nature.) For example, the above, “Buy the new Victory Bonds“. The implication in the pictorial is that Nazis and Rising Sun Japanese are after some poor dedicated woman’s child. Buying the bonds will protect the child from the harm to which they would otherwise be subjected, and give the mother confidence in that knowledge. The propagandist’s desired result is to bleed the people of their money, indebt them through the bonds and thereby strengthening the banker’s position, enslave their lives, steal their freedom, and enrich the government with bond purchases, politicians with higher tax revenues, and strengthen the military industrial complex – all leading to world hegemony by the United States and/or some world government agency such as the United Nations.

Now, in the future, when you watch television “news”, or read a “news” paper, try listening or reading between the lines to see if you can figure out if there is a presentation of straight unbiased news, or if it’s a propanda piece to cause you to be angry, buy a product, envy the have’s, hate your neighbor, feel sorry for the oppressed, or love the government etc. Note, there are articles published in the “news” that are “planted” by government authorities!
