You’ve seen the hats and heard the vitriol as well as the accolades! Another application of the acronym MAGA could be; drum roll please – Make America Godly Again! Why should we listen to the fake news media, the experts (an expert is a former “ex” drip under pressure “spurt”), leftist academia, leftist rabble in the street known as “astro turf” etc.? God’s law was, according to David the author of Psalms, a “lamp unto his feet”! What does that mean?

If you’ve ever tried to walk in the dark, you probably stubbed your toe, bumped your head, tripped over something or just groped with difficulty. Looking around at America today with all of the myriad problems, it is clear that turning from GOD (His law/light) is not working well. In 2008, this writer lived in Denver, Colorado where the Democratic National Convention was held. At that convention, they took GOD out of the party formally! How has that worked for the Democrats since then? They have; insisted America adopt perversion, overtly rigged elections, lied blatantly to the American people, fomented wars, trashed the economy, and subsequently become the laughing stock of the world and lost the blue collar rank and file support and prestige they once had solidly in their corner.

Are the Republicans any better? Maybe just a tad. Invoking the name of GOD has little value, if you don’t know and follow what He says. The Republican Party (not reflective of all Republicans) seems to have little to do with GOD and His word. The party still holds to His existence, and, for the most part, to a pro-life position albeit somewhat weakly. Republicans seem to have no problem with profligate spending, lying, accepting perversion, and numerous other deficiencies.

Part of that is due to the fact that the Republican Party has become heavily infiltrated and influenced by Neo Cons and RINO’s who, to put it in perspective, are Democrat wolves in Republican sheep’s clothing. Thankfully, there are a few Republicans with understanding, but sadly it is a small minority. Putting party and power ahead of principles and integrity seems to be the Machiavellian way to accomplish the objectives most expeditiously – whether Republican or Democrat. Of course, that means at the expense of not only GOD’s word in the Bible, but also the Constitution of the United States – something Donald Trump is currently trashing.
