As long as people live without hope, then drugs will prevail in society. For people who want hope, there is Jesus Christ Who provides hope in the form of the peace that passes all understanding, and without that peace, there is no hope. Romans 5:3 – 5 explains what leads to hope, and it’s not an easy path in life, nor is it a path without pain. Ancient Christians faced their trials with courage. Today courage seems lost and people embrace escapism and drugs instead.
