To whom does the Constitution apply? 1.) If to everyone in the world, then we have world government without the consent of the rest of the world! 2.) If it applies to anyone in our borders, then anyone who wants to come inside our borders will be treated as a full American citizen! 3.) If it applies only to American citizens, and that is the most logical application, then illegal immigrants and people in other countries are not entitled to any U.S. Constitutional guarantees/protections. This writer does not see how you can have any middle ground when it comes to the law, or it is no longer law but political maneuvering and favors – it must be one of these three!
