If the average chicken is 3 lbs. then that works out to $0.33 per pound increased cost. Then you have to add for the mark ups on the cost by distribution and retailers, which would bring the per pound price up to $0.43! That’s conservative. and works out to at least another $3 billion to consumers every year. Maybe the increased price in eggs will offset that some – who knows?

All of this because less that 1/100,000th % of the chickens get the bird flu which is killed when you cook the chicken. How did Americans ever survive without Big Pharma vaccinating everyone and everything?
