Starting back in the 90’s, we started seeing SNOPES! They were the first broadly disseminated “fact checkers”. For quite some time, they were looked upon by the masses as quite authoritative, and as such were oft quoted to settle the matter. Finally, by the 2000’s it became abundantly clear that they had a very strong leftist bias, and in “FACT” were exposed as a husband and wife team with no real training or authoritative resources.

Since then, internet “Fact Checkers” have proliferated and are still quoted by the left. Are they any better? This writer finds them to be very limited in what they cover, and how they cover it. This writer also finds that they are of a strong leftist bias. Indeed, to the best of this writer’s knowledge, there are no formally recognized “conservative” or unbiased “Fact Checkers”

In the meantime, the “mainstream” media’s bias has also become highly visible and very clearly leftist. By GOD’s grace and thanks to Conservative/Christian/Libertarian alternative media sources, people are getting the “Facts” and the “Truth” to a significant degree – certainly more than before the internet came into existence. The internet is a thorn in the side of the establishment and the stooges that run America’s government for them. What will they do next?
