They play arsonist and firefighter; they play good cop bad cop; they play terrorist and F.B.I.; they develop the disease and antidote in the same laboratory; they develop the propaganda and truth exposed in the same publication; they create inflation and deflation under the same roof; they create jobs and unemployment in the same stroke of a pen; they create political problems and solutions in the same chambers and so on and so on. It’s the Hegelian Dialectic – thesis/antithesis/synthesis, or put another way, they force a problem on the people and create the opposition to the problem, and then they get the two sides to compromise on a bad solution!
