Without naming names or giving specifics, here’s a true story that is most thought provoking. A Christian friend of this writer was confronted by four of his Muslim acuquaintances. They knew he was Christian, and wanted him to convert to Islam. He insisted he needed to read the Koran first so he would know to what he was committing.

My friend actually learned to read Arabic so he could read the Koran in its original language so nobody could claim he read a “biased” or “inadequate” translation. Upon completing the task, his four acquaintances came to him and said; “Well, what do you think?”He said he had a few questions. The most poignant of those questions went as follows:

Friend: “Mohammed said he was a true prophet – yes?”

Muslims: “Yes!”

Friend: “Mohammed said a ‘true prophet’ cannot lie! – yes?

Muslims: “Yes!”

Friend: “Mohammed said that Jesus Christ was a ‘great prophet’ – yes?”

Muslims: “Yes!”

Friend: “Mohammed said that Jesus Christ was NOT the Son of God – yes?”

Muslims: “Yes”

Friend: “Jesus Christ said that He was the Son of God – yes?”

Muslims: “Uh, uh, yes.”

Friend: “Based upon that, who was lying; Jesus or Mohammed?” End of discussion:

Two Muslims wanted to kill him immediately! Two came to him later to learn more about Christ!
