People are so committed

To burying their head in the sand

Opinions to conform perfectly fitted

To the “official” narrative

Foisted upon us all

Rejecting a desire to live

And letting our nation fall!

Is there no one who will stand

No one who will speak out

No one to join the band

Strong sure and stout?

Shall we fade away

With no more than a whimper?

Allowing evil to have its sway

Over a mind much simpler?

Heaven forbid it to be

As Patrick Henry called for death

Over the evil of slavery

It’s time to take a deep breath

Get hold of yourself

Do not be a pawn

Do not sit upon a shelf

Let your principles be drawn

Let your mind be informed

Let your words be true

Let no one be conformed

And no one mess with you!
