It’s called the “salami method”.  The government takes one little slice of your freedom at a time.  Do you think this will be the end of it?  No, it’s just the beginning.  A warrantless search means the police don’t even have to knock – they can just kick down the door, blow up your home or access it any way they please any time of the day with or without your permission, and they can go on a fishing expedition looking for anything that might hint of you’re being one skosh shy of a perfect citizen at which point you can be arrested, accused of being a terrorist and shut up in prison with no legal representation for as long as they want to keep you, and your family will never hear from you again.  Is that the America you want to live in?  Rest assured this won’t stop at the border of Washington D.C.  It sets a precedent, and ultimately all police departments will manage to justify this.  Letting terrorists into this country just makes it a little easier to justify.  See link below:
