Based upon a Google search, the top five listed Socialist countries in the world are as follows: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Ireland. It seems to this writer, that there should be some criterion established, and we will use the same criteron to compare all 5 to the United States of America.
The fertility rate of each would be important, because if people are not happy and not looking forward to the future, they will not have children. Note that the replacement rate is 2.1 or higher, and anything less is a dying nation. The following are the respective fertility rates highlighted in red:
Norway 1.4, Sweden 1.45, Denmark 1.5, Finland 1.26, Ireland 1.5 and the U.S. 1.6
So, we see that all are below replacement rate, but the U.S. is the highest. It is also worth noting that all of these countries have had very sizeable Muslim migration, although the U.S. much less, and Muslims have a much higher fertility rate – 3.1.
The above should be coupled with the per capita abortion rate per 1,000 women.
Norway 9.7, Sweden 19, Denmark 14, Finland 7, Ireland 15 and the U.S. 12
Three worse and two better than the U.S. – if you consider abortion undesireable.
The net tax rate determines how much you keep of your income.
Norway 36%, Sweden 41.5%, Denmark 36.1%, Finland 41.9%, Ireland 35.2% and the U.S. 30.1%
This shows that the American government allows workers to keep more of what they earned!, which theoretically means that keeping more means you can do better earning less.
Now, let’s look at economics – a big aspect of Socialism. What is the average per capita income in all of these nations?
Norway $92K, Sweden$58K, Denmark $72, Finland $66.5K, Ireland $107K and the U.S. $73K
Difference after tax variations from country to country:
Norway $87K, Sweden$50.7K, Denmark $67.7, Finland $58.5K, Ireland $102K and the U.S. $73K
If the figures are accurate, there are two socialist countries with higher per capital income than the U.S.
% of GDP for foreign aid
Norway 1%, Sweden .88%, Denmark .71%, Finland .47%, Ireland 0.4% and the U.S. 3.3%
America leads as the most generous to other nations as far as giving.
% of GDP for defense spending
Norway 1%, Sweden 2.4, Denmark 2.4%, Finland 2.4%, Ireland 0.23% and the U.S. 3.3%
America appears at the top by a significant margin. (See below for United Nations expenditures)
Dollars paid to United Nations
Norway $170M, Sweden $28M, Denmark .7%, Finland $38M, Ireland $16M and the U.S. $13B
So you can see that the U.S. pays more than 52 times as much as the other 5 combined! That does not include the use of the U.S. Military for U.N. peace keeping purposes which amounts to another $1.3 billion making the U.S. gross contribution to the U.N. 57 times the combined contribution of the other five nations. Much of that money goes down black holes in the pockets of criminals in governments around the world. It also comes back to American politicians in Congress, and maybe even the White House! And, let’s not forget all the money that goes into Israel’s defense.
% of GDP for foreign aid
Norway 3.4%, Sweden 2.8%, Denmark 2.4%, Finland 2.4%, Ireland 0.2% and the U.S. 3.5%
America is at the top of the list just barely.
Inflation rate:
Norway 3.1%, Sweden 3.1%, Denmark 2.1%, Finland 1.4%, Ireland 2.9% and the U.S. 3%
Inflation is a concealed tax. in 1970 a Chevy Impala cost $3,100 in 2025 $39,000
Next, let’s examine home ownership which is the “hallmark” of the American Dream.
Norway 80%, Sweden65%, Denmark 60%, Finland 70%, Ireland 70% and the U.S. 65%
We see that three socialist nations out rank the U.S. in this category.
In happiness with current circumstances would be another measuring factor.
Norway 7.3, Sweden7.34, Denmark 7.58, Finland 7.74, Ireland 6.84 and the U.S. 6.73
Here we get a glimpse of how discontent the U.S. is at the bottom of this list.
National Debt
Norway 43%, Sweden33%, Denmark 31%, Finland 82%, Ireland 39% and the U.S. 125%
America is being bled dry by other nations we subsidize with foreign aid and and military support (to include the U.N. listed above). It is often stated that if the national debt exceeds 110%, it is beyond help, and bankruptcy is imminent.
Lastly, life expectancy reveals a lot.
Norway 83, Sweden 84, Denmark 82, Finland 82, Ireland 83 and the U.S. 78
Again, the U.S. is at the bottom of the list, and yet we spend more on Socialist health care than any other nation!
Now, for some commentary, and observations.
1970 (the last year we had gold backing to our dollar currency) in America will provide an interesting comparison to what’s happened in 55 + years. This is assuming that all statistics on Google have been accurately presented and that they are without bias or corruption. Note: the likely source for all of these statistics is corrupt government! Also, note that the lion’s share of money going to the Socialist World Government United Nations Rip Off Society comes from the U.S. government.
1970 – U.S. fertility rate 2.5, per capita income in today’s dollars $34,109, home ownership 64%, happiness 38%, life expectancy 71
So, what’s wrong with this picture? If indeed we have accurate unbiased information, then it appears that America is doing very poorly and has been for quite some time! Why is that? This writer could offer a lot of possibilities, and the Socialists would likely pooh pooh them all.
This writer does know something with which no socialist can disagree! Since the beginning of time, human nature has not changed. By that, it is meant that man has never NEVER stopped murdering, lying, stealing, cheating, envying, warring and dodging responsibility to GOD, his fellow man, and even himself etc. etc.
From the above statistics, we can see that debt is a serious factor for the U.S. It is a burden in two ways. One, the debtor must pay interest on the debt which has become a very big percentage of the entire budget in America – over 3% at this writing. Debt removes disposable income from the pockets of the citizens, and it oppresses the citizens psychologically while giving the banksters inordinate power!
Subsidizing the Socialist United Nations (Rockefeller instituted and funded), is another great burden as the U.N. constantly acts in contradiction to the best interest of America and Americans. So too is foreign aid which goes often to hostile nations.
The debt is incurred in large part because of America’s wealth being redistributed (a socialist ideal) to less well off nations. In fact some of those nations have now become better off because of our generosity. And of course the politicians have become rich with kickbacks.
Socialism favors the rich by eliminating competition through heavy taxation and regulation which only the rich can afford. Socialism is legalized thievery – it is TAKING BY FORCE from those who have, and giving to either those who have not, or those who have too much and thereby wiping out the middle class –Karl Marx’s ultimate goal – to get rid of the bourgeoisie! What gives government, or anyone in government the right to determine who can have what and how much? Who will be the arbiter of that, and who will decide who the arbiter is? Excerpted from Chapter 1 of the Communist Manifesto here: ,”The modern bourgeois society that has sprouted from the ruins of feudal society has not done away with class antagonisms. It has but established new classes, new conditions of oppression, new forms of struggle in place of the old ones.”, and the entire work HERE It should also be duly noted that the ability to regulate private property is totally corrupt and Socialist.
As a final note, this writer believes that there is a tremendous abuse of wealth in this country and throughout the world. If that wealth is ill gotten gains through the force of socialist government, then it should not be! Like it or not, America is a Socialist nation – rotten to the core!
