The demand over the next decade or more for highly skilled plumbers, electricians and HVAC people will be immense. High demand – low supply – big money in pay checks!

Harvard – as leftist as they are, has a prestigious reputation. People who graduate from Harvard are well connected and well respected.

Now lets consider some other likely facts; those graduating with a plumbing degreee will:

Know the termanology of their industry

Know all of the materials utilized in their industry.

Know all of the tools utilized in their industry

Know how to read blue prints.

Know what to do from university lab training with the latest in equipment, skilled professors and AI assistance.

Know how to communicate with architects and general contractors.

Know how to start, and manage a profitable business.

Know the IBC (International Building Code) book backward and forwards so they comply with all regulations.

Know how to qualify, hire, train, retain, manage and supervise high quality people to work for them.

Know how to manage costs and markups and how to be a profitable business.

Know how to protect themselves from liability issues.

Know how to prepare and present a bid.

Know how to find the best work available.

Know how to market their business.

Have the funds to start the business, or the connections to borrow the funds.

All of the above will be accomplished with the help of their fellow Harvard graduates who are bankers, accountants, attorneys, marketing agents, politicians etc.

The bottom line:

The old school people who worked their way up the ladder through the industry will be toast. With a few exceptions, they will end up working for the Harvard graduates.
