For sure GOD will be in Heaven. In Scripture He tells us His elect, including the 12 Tribes and the 12 Apostles, will be there, and those angels who are not “fallen” will be there. Solomon tells us human’s souls go up, and animals go down. Therefore, there will be no “pets” in Heaven.

What will be in Heaven is far more difficult to assess. For one, we are told that we cannot imagine what Heaven is like. At the same time, there are things we are told will be there either by explication or implication. There will be mansions in Heaven and streets of gold. By implication and/or explication, there will be love, joy, peace, constant light, signing of praise, worship and likely a lot more.

Everyone wants to go to Heaven, but not everyone will go to Heaven. There are the righteous and the wicked, the wheat and chaff, sheep and goats, and wheat and tares. How does someone go to Heaven? Ephesians 2:8 & 9 tell us that it is “not of our works”. Put another way, you cannot earn or work or deserve your way to Heaven. It is strictly and exclusively by GOD’s grace and election.

If someone is “elect”, that means that they rely EXCLUSIVELY upon the completed work on the cross and the shed blood of Jesus Christ for their salvation, and that they have been “reborn”, so that their heart belogns to GOD!

On the other hand, there are those who will not go to Heaven. Where will they go? They will go to Hell unless they repent and believe on Christ. It’s the only alternative.
