Let’s reason as follow:

God is or isn’t! Neither proposition is provable although may be reasoned!

But, if He isn’t, then no further discussion necessary!

If, yes, He is, there can be only one GOD, or many gods meaning there is no GOD!

If He is GOD, then He, as GOD, can do whatever He wishes!

That being true, then He can reveal Himself to mankind if He wishes any way He wishes!

He can communicate by or through any vehicle He chooses!

Men, as GOD’s vehicle of choice, were inspired by GOD’s Holy Spirit to write His word called the Bible/Scripture. Note: No other writings make this claim!

GOD’s word is true and without error, and man’s interpretation of it may or may not be true and likely has errors.

GOD’s word being true, man had best know it and obey it.

GOD sets out an established order of the universe to include that of man’s conduct of behavior in His commands!

Those commands include The 10 Commandments and expository statutes particularly in the Torah!

Jesus Christ was prophesied in the book of Isaiah chapter 9 verse 6.

The above 800 B.C. prophecy is never fulfilled by anyone other than Jesus Christ!

Jesus Christ is GOD manifested in the flesh Collossians 1:15 – 20.

Jesus Christ said if you love Him, you must obey His commands John 14:15 – 24. Jesus fulfilled the ceremonial and sacrificial laws, so they are no longer necessary to obey, and that includes nonsensical Dispensational Theology which, among other things says Christ will return to Jerusalem to restore the sacrifices – nonsense.

Jesus Christ, as GOD in the flesh, is the author of all of the Old Testament Commandments as listed above.

GOD saves us, and not we ourselves Ephesians 2:8.

As such, we are SAVED unto good works NOT BY GOOD WORKS!

Good works are necessary James 2:8

Good works include “providing” for your own I Timothy 5:8! (By logical extension loving your neighbor as yourself)

How to “provide for your own” is debatable. This writer believes “providing” includes spiritually with the Word of GOD, food, water, shelter, clothing, medical care and protection from evil men (Abraham Genesis 14 – That means political protection and therefore political action from a Biblical Christian perspective – prayer alone is not sufficient.)

The spiritual man judges all things I Corinthians 2:15

Matthew 7:18 provides a vehicle for judging a person’s actions!

Matthew 3:12 describes the end for good and bad trees (people)

Jesus commanded “repent and believe” Mark I:14 – 15.

If you repent and believe, then you go to Heaven, and if you do not repent and believe, you go to Hell.

The choice is GOD’s – not yours Romans 9:21

This is all a conundrum for the unbeliever, and even professing believers have trouble with this, and maybe they are not TRUE BELIEVERS? Best be right!
