The death of the Pope reveals a lot. If the Pope had followed Biblical teaching, he would have opposed homosexuality, transgenderism etc., and he would have trusted in GOD’s sovereignty over the universe, and he would not have worried about “global climate change”. He also would have chided illegal immigrants for violating the laws of the lands in which they had become invaders, parasites and criminals. For this, he would have been excoriated by the media, but instead, he followed the politically correct way and instead was revered by the media.

As one Vatican commentator put it; “He, like Frank Sinatra, did it ‘his way’ “! That is true, the Pope did it “his way”, and definitely not GOD’s way! What is GOD’s way? Read the Bible which is the “WORD of GOD”.

Here’s some Biblical reasoning to consider; Colossians I:15 – 20 which tells you the WHO, WHAT, WHY, HOW and FOR WHAT Jesus Christ was. The bottom line out of that Scripture is Jesus Christ was and is GOD in the Flesh. Isaiah 9:6 is a prophetic declaration, ever recognized to be about Jesus Christ, which also declares Him to be GOD in the flesh. The Reformed Protestant doctrine says that Scripture interprets Scripture, and so you have a New Testament interpretation of an Old Testament prophecy! The Scripture references that Jesus Christ is Deity are so numerous that we will not bore you with the myriad of repetition. Even the Roman Catholic Church (headed by the Pope and not to be confused with the catholic church which is the universal church) acknowledges Christ’s Deity as part of the Trinity.

Now, let’s see what Jesus Christ said about Himself in John 14:15 -25 It is unthinkable to be a Christian and not love Jesus Christ. So, according to the above Scripture, if you love Him, you’ll obey Him. What is it that you should obey? Well, if Christ is GOD in the Flesh, there at the beginning of Creation, then He is the author of the Ten Commandments and the Torah (Pentateuch or first five books of the Bible) which is the statutory outworking of the Ten Commandments.

Romans 1:18 – 2:24. This New Testament Scripture is buttressed by Leviticus 20:13. In addition to these two references (which are not the only ones), there is not a single Old or New Testament verse that endorses, encourages or in any way condones homosexual or immoral sexual behavior. Moral, GODLY, Biblical sexual behavior is either abstinence, or sexual intercourse between a married man and woman in a monogamous and faithful marriage Matthew 19:4 – 6. A “man” (singular – not plural), shall be joined to his wife (singular – not plural). He does not mention men with men or women with women regarding the “joining” which, in the larger context, is referring to marriage. So marriage is ALWAYS heterosexual, and NEVER homosexual, bisexual, polygamous, cavalier or in any way irreverent.

Therefore, even though the leftist politically correct fake news media favors homosexuality, Jesus Christ, GOD, and the Bible do not. The Pope chose to side with the world (fake news media) instead of GOD and His Word in the Bible. Shame on the Pope, and shame on Roman Catholics who allow themselves to be swayed by man’s opinion over GOD’s word!

We could go on, but the other issues of illegal immigration and climate change would be a much more in depth a study, and much more nuanced and take more time than this writer wants to dedicate!
