Throughout history, man has been put in a category; red black, white, yellow brown, rightside up and upside down, rich and poor, smart and dumb, tall and short, fat and skinny, left and right and so on and on! There is only one categorization that really counts, and that is elect or non-elect. The Bible categorizes them as “chosen” people verses “gentiles”. In the New Testament, the contrast is sheep and goats, wheat and tares, wheat and chaff, vessel of honor and vessel of dishonor. righteous and wicked etc.

The bottom line is that man was created to live forever, but he sinned and was subject to temporal death. Death amounts to eternal life with GOD, or eternal life without GOD. With GOD is joyous; no night, no tears, no hunger, no thirst, no pain, no discomfort. Without GOD is dark, with weeping and gnashing of teeth, terrifying, with constant thirst and hunger.

If you want to spend eternity in Heaven with GOD, then you only need to repent of your sins and believe upon the LORD Jesus Christ with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength! Aww, that’s too easy you say! Or, maybe you think you are too far gone? The thief on the cross was pretty far gone – within minutes of dying as a criminal. It’s likely he wasn’t baptized, circumcized or even a Jew. He did know that Jesus was innocent of any crime, and that he deserved what he was getting.

Jesus said to him; “Today you will be with Me in paradise!” Heaven is paradise, and the alternative is Hell. Where do you want to spend eternity? My sympathy is with and for the person who still has the hope of salvation but has balked at repenting and believing.
