The Most Important Events In The Life Of Man!

Birth is without a doubt the single most important event in the life of mankind, for without it there would be nothing else to discuss.

Following birth, there are yet other exceedingly important events. They are learning to walk, talk, read, make friends, ride a bike, drive a car, graduate from high school and maybe college, a first date, a first kiss, a first job, marriage, parenthood, grand parent status, and ultimately death!

Yes, without birth there would be nothing, and all who are born will die – there are no exceptions to that save a man named Enoch who walked with GOD and then was no more, and Elijah who was swept up into the heavens on a flaming chariot. Yes, death comes to us all. Knowing that, must make some people, if not all, curious as to what happens after death?

What makes you you? Why are you an individual with individual thoughts, sentiments, philosophies, needs, wants, and with a personality that is unlike anyone else? You are one of a kind! You are a spiritual being created in the image of GOD. As such, GOD has a place in which He resides and rules, and that place is called Heaven. He brings people to Heaven after they die, but only those He wants to bring.

Will He bring you or not? The alternative He has established is a place called Hell, and Hell is just the opposite of Heaven. Your friends may be there, but you won’t be able to enjoy their company. Hell is a place of eternal torment where the worm never dies, you are separated from GOD, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, terror and thirst will be eternal and so will the heat and total darkness.

GOD has provided His Son Jesus Christ as a blood sacrifice for our sinful behavior – and yes, we are all sinners and condemned to Hell save for the work of Christ and the HOLY SPIRIT changing our hearts to love and obey GOD (born again)! You can’t do it yourself – you must rely upon Him to do it for you!

Christmas is a reminder of that fact! Merry Christmas!
