The Gates Of Hell!

The Gates Of Hell Are Vulnerable!

Scripture tells us HERE that the gates of Hell shall not prevail against the church. This passage needs some examination. First of all, what is the purpose of a gate? One purpose is to keep out unwanted persons. Two is to keep in and keep safe (and/or ignorant) wanted persons. So, the gates of Hell are keeping out Christians, and keeping in unbelievers to put it succinctly.

Jesus commands HERE to go throughout ALL the world preaching the Gospel. He did not say go throughout all the world except…. He did not make an exception for the political world, I.R.S. agents, the world of bikers, drug addicts, pimps, prostitutes, or fiat central banksters. No, He said “All the world”. All means all, or am I missing something here?

Now, the command to “go” is an active (verb) implying pursuit of an objective. It is on the offensive and not the defensive. Not only that , but the reference in Matthew 16 above says that the gates will not prevail against the church. The church is the “body of Christ“. To this writer, that would mandate that the church, as a body, as well as the individual members, have an obligation to attack ALL the gates of Hell and break them down, and thereby, freeing up all of those who are enslaved to and by sin. Of course, that would also require knowing the specific Biblical application of the specific sins involved and how they are being protected by the gates of Hell (God encourages the use of strategy). Proverbs 24:12 says ignorance is no excuse! The key to getting through the gates is all truth, although most importantly, the Gospel!

What am I missing? What is my error?
