Biden’s DOJ launched a national resource center to help states take people’s guns.

View this email in your browserOn Saturday, Biden’s DOJ announced the launch of a National Extreme Risk Protection Order (“red flag law”) Resource Center aimed at aiding states in taking people’s guns.“Red flag laws,” such as the one in Colorado, are a terrible gun-control policy that gives the government the authority to take guns away from people whom they deem “unfit” to possess them. These laws typically don’t require the person whose Second Amendment rights are being revoked to be convicted of or even charged with a crime.“Red flag laws” are in flagrant violation of both the Second and Fourth Amendments to the United States Constitution. They are also ineffective at reducing gun violence. In fact, after Colorado passed the “Red Flag Law” in 2019, we saw an increase in gun-related homicides in 2020.And while the Biden Administration is fighting with Texas to maintain a constant influx of unvetted illegal immigrants, they want to use these “red flag laws” to sic their dogs on law-abiding U.S. citizens like you and me.The Colorado State Shooting Association (state association of the NRA) will not tolerate the federal government treating law-abiding gun owners this way. We will never back down in the fight to defend the right of Coloradans to keep and bear arms, even if that means going up against Biden’s dogs. With your support, we will always advocate for responsible Colorado gun owners whose rights are under attack. If you believe in the Second Amendment, become a member of CSSA for $5 per month, $50 per year, or $140 for three years.
