Discrimination just means to choose between. By itself, the word has no qualitative application. Sadly, there are those who have manipulated the mind of the public so that they believe that discrimination is wrong! It is possible to discriminate between broccoli and green beans. For the grower of either of those crops, discriminating between one or the other could be wrong as far as that particular grower is concerned, depending, of course, on who or what is being discriminated against or in favor.
As a political application, discrimination has taken on a whole new dimension. It really started out in the 1960’s with the civil rights movement and applied to discrimination “against” black people. At the time, “black people” were known in the common vernacular as Negroes. Subsequently, they have come to be referred to not only as Blacks, but also as African American. The latter takes them one step away from being American. This writer happens to be European American in the eyes of the politically correct, which is politically incorrect as this writer prefers to be considered an American of European decent. Meanwhile, African American deserves special attention and recognition. Why?
Let’s parse this difficult anomaly. To fully understand things in the light of the current political culture, we must understand the distinction (a form of discrimination) between two concepts. A principle is a fixed and objective belief in application. A feeling is a belief that is applied individually (subjectively) and does, or doesn’t have broad application.
In those two applications, our laws exist and are either applied or modified and applied. The principle that muder – defined as the premeditated unlawful taking of a human life – is wrong has a long standing (historic) and broad (all nations throughout history) application. From time to time, murder has been endorsed by societies, although not for very long. A fairly recent example would be NAZI Germany’s dehumanization of the Jews (and to a lesser degree, Christians and sexual deviates) along with the subsequent murder of them. More recently, the Communist Chinese have done so with political dissidents, Christians, Falun Gong and others.
How is it that these murders became acceptable? “Feelings” allowed for that. Jews were vilified and blamed for a lot of the ills of Germany after World War I. The vilification led to inflamed passions (feelings) that allowed for the ultimate dehuminization of the Jews. As a result, many Jews (and others) were murdered by gassing, starvation, firing squads etc. They were enemies of the state. That’s a status that no group wants.
Today in America, there is a strong push on to vilify conservatives, Christians, Constitutionalists and any other form of activist who doesn’t readily go along with the state’s narrative of what is politically correct and necesary. This is opening the door for dehumanizing people who fit the description of enemies of the state.
To buttress the state’s position, there is a not so sublte form of censorship going on in America to obscure any opposing viewpoints which disagree with the state’s view of what is politically correct and the “official” narrative as represented by government, and the government regulated media which includes all major television networks (ABC, BBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, PBS et. al.) as well as social media networks such as Facebook. This is a method of censorship based opon “percieved” ideas purveyed by these institutions which leads to broad based “feelings” on the part of the easily manipulated general public. Of course, the powers that be have, as a back up, set up “fact checkers” to confirm their viewpoints in order to add an extra layer of comfort to support the “feelings” of those who are being manipulated.
Of course there are other “feelings” that can play into the above scenario. The “feeling” of fear is a very big player. There is the fear of ostracization by one’s peers, loss of a job, isolation from social contact and other psy-op actions. Of course a “principle” would be to consider all people as innocent until proven guilty, but that principle is being rapidly undermined by the old “Napoleonic Law” of guilty until proven innocent. Of course under the “Napoleonic Law”, you are trying to prove a negative, and proving a negative is virtually impossible, especially when doing so in a public court venue that is orchestrated to achieve the desired outcome of the state which is prosecuting its enemy – that is to say; anyone who disagrees with the “official narrative”!
For those who profess to be Christian, the hour is late to do anything about this instense, well financed, well orchestrated move to discredit the “enemies of the state” which includes Christians in particular. World War I began in the Garden of Eden, and it has continued right up until today. The war represents Satan in his rebellion against the God of the Bible. The victory against Satan was secured after Christ’s resurrection from the dead when He saw Satan fall from Heaven (Luke 10:18-24). Satan is now fighing for his supremacy on earth with every trick he can. The Scripture refers to Satan as the “father of lies” and a “murderer from the begining”. It also says the “Satan masquerades as an angel of light”. Satan is not red skinned with a tail and horns; Satan is attractive and smart and much more clever than you, me, or Bill Gates who is (knowingly or unknowingly) an agent of his. His agents are people like the Rothschilds, George Soros, King Charles, the Rockefellers etc.
We are living in a heightened spiritual warfare of which Paul spoke in the book of Epeshians chapter 6 verse 12 in which we wrestle against spiritual forces – not fleshly forces, although those spiritual forces influence the fleshly forces needed to oppress and murder us. The COVID “plandemic” should be an excellent and obvious example of that. Liquor stores, cannabis stores and fascist big box stores were considered “essential”, while churches and small businesses were considered “nonessential”! Meanwhile, violent protesters, Antifa and BLM, who burned, pillaged and murdered were left virtually untouched while, many non-violent January 6th protesters were arrested, and 2 1/2 years later many are still languishing in abhorrent sub- par conditions of U.S. prisons without formal charges, a hearing, legal reprsentation, or bail – all of which are an outright denial of Constitutional guarantees to a “speedy trial”, to be “judged by a jury of your peers”, and other usurpations of their rights.
If you are a Christian, this writer recommends the following: 1.) Pray for our nation’s repentance, revival and reformation, and for Godly righteous leaders to be raised up and elected in all spheres and at all levels. 2.) Become familiar with your rights (under U.S. and state laws) as a citizen (note St. Paul did so in the book of Acts Chapter 22:22-29) 3.) Become familiar with Biblical precepts (laws) and their proper application to today’s society. 4.) Meet your local leaders such as the Police Chief and Sheriff of your community along with city council members and the Mayor. Get to know these people and determine their understanding of your rights and their proper role as government officials. 5.) Last, but not least, educate your pastor, elders, deacons and fellow congregation with what their rights are and what their Biblical duties as citizens should be.
