Debate Criteria
If people are going to formally (or informally) debate a topic or topics, then the following criteria should be applied:
Each debater should:
1.) Declare the basis of their world view; the Koran, the Bible, the Constitution etc.
2.) Agree to define, and live by, their world view and terms they use.
3.) Stick to the subject at hand.
4.) Not call one’s opponent(s) names
5.) Not make false attributions to their opponent.
6.) Not interrupt their opponent (time limits should be applied as well as single points maintained).
If these rules are applied, the leftist will never succeed in a debate. Leftists always change the subject when they are failing to make their point, or their inconsistencies are being exposed. Leftist also tend to interrupt, mock and make false attributions to their opponent. When, in absolute desperation, the leftists start calling their opponent, or by false association, their friends, acquaintances or people with common beliefs, names, then you know they are coming to the end of their rope before they start throwing punches or waking away from the debate saying something to the effect that it is a waste of their time.
